Barbara Seccafieno

I’m a business and executive coach, trainer, and facilitator with over 25 years of experience in organisational development. What energises me most is supporting people, teams, and organisations as they grow, shift, and reconnect with what truly matters.

I bring a systemic perspective and a deeply human approach. My focus is on leadership, management, and sales force development, working through emotional intelligence, individual coaching, and team coaching. I’m certified in the Six Seconds model and draw on its tools to foster awareness, connection, and meaningful action. I was also trained to coach by Tim Gallwey, one of the pioneers of executive coaching, whose approach continues to inspire my practice.

I work across different sectors, including manufacturing, banking, and pharmaceuticals, partnering with both multinational corporations and traditional family-owned businesses. I’ve designed and led team coaching programmes for shift supervisors in metalworking and food production, helping them grow as inclusive and effective leaders.

I’m an active member of Italian Professional Coach Association (AICP) and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Within AICP, I’ve taken on leadership roles and introduced coaching communities of practice inspired by Sheila Rega’s model — still active today. I also collaborate with IULM (University Institute of Modern Languages – Milan), developing coaching programmes for undergraduate students.

My style is open, honest, and grounded in real listening. I tailor each coaching journey to the uniqueness of the people I work with — whether it’s a first-time manager or a senior leadership team.

Curious by nature, I love exploring new places and cultures. My passion for Greece even led me to learn modern Greek so I could connect more deeply with its people and spirit.

I divide my time between Milan, Italy and Lyon, France.
