I am an Associate Professor of Leadership and Inclusive Practices and serve as the Dean of the Office for Institutional Equity at the University of East London. I’m also an Associate Fellow at Oxford’s Saïd Business School, where I’ve had the opportunity to partner with over 50 organisations across a wide range of sectors. In addition, I work as an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) consultant at both Cambridge Judge Business School and London Business School.

I specialise in board-level leadership coaching, inclusive leadership development, workplace wellbeing, career progression, and coaching for women in leadership. My work spans a wide range of sectors, including executive education, the third sector, engineering, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and professional membership bodies. I bring a cross-sector perspective to everything I do, which helps me support clients with diverse challenges and goals.

Academically, I hold a PhD in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship, as well as an MSc in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. I’m a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, and a Chartered Academic Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. I’m also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

I have been awarded an Honorary Fellowship by UCL for my outstanding contribution to executive education. I was also named one of UK’s Top 50 Inspirational Black Women in 2019.

My approach is person-centred and collaborative, focusing on building trust and meaningful engagement at an individual, team and organisational level.
