John Blattner specialises in executive coaching, organisational assessment, selection, team development, executive performance and strategic planning for national and international organisations. John is an experienced organisational consultant and licensed clinical psychologist with over 35 years of diverse experience, John has worked with CEO’s and senior executives in helping them develop their professional talents and interests. He has lead organisations through strategic planning and development. He has designed professional development programmes for large organisations and has consulted with 3M, Grainger, General Mills, Baxter Healthcare, Advocate Health Care, DSM (Netherlands), Veolia, Abbvie, Nucor, Miller Industrial and Tasty Catering to name a few.
Previously an external coach for Nucor-Trinidad, John has been a frequent guest speaker and lecturer for executives regarding career and personal growth. Other projects have included coaching clients on communication, delegation and conflict resolution with the use of role-play and experiential exercise. He has worked with managers on short-term basis to address issues of supervision, stress, personal conflicts, and dealing with problem employees and goal setting. John has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. He possesses masters and bachelor degrees in psychology as well. John has previously held the position of Founder and Chairperson for the Consulting Section of the Illinois Psychological Association. He has served on the Executive Board for the Division of Consulting Psychology (Division 13) of the American Psychological Association.
